June 6, 201016 yr Hey guys, just a small little annoyance I would like help fixing.I have a 1TB Seagate External Hard Drive. It holds quite a few movie's, which I watch through iTunes, and my iPod Touch. However, there is a problem. Last week, the location of the External Hard Drive was E: drive, so iTunes is looking for an E: drive, for all the movies, etc. However, this week, it has changed its self to F: drive... :mellow:When I go into My Computer, it doesn't show an E: drive, with something take priority... I cannot locate the E: drive.Any help? My OS is Windows XP SP3. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
June 7, 201016 yr Changing the drive letters eh? I have windows 7, but I'm certain there's a similar operation. I'll check on my old computer that's still running xp tomorrow morning if you have problems. For windows 7:Go to the control pannel -> administrative tools -> Computer Management On the side bar in the resulting window, go to Storage -> Disk Management Rightclick your drive marked F:/ and click "Change drive letters and paths" From there, click "Change". A menu should result with the ability to change the drive letter. BE WARNED: THIS MAY MESS UP SHORTCUTS AND CAUSE SOME PROGRAMS TO RUN INCORRECTLY. this link kills spam
