Hey.

 

I cant use fire surge and I don't want to spend money on mage gear so I thouht I would melee them.

 

1.) What prayer should I use?

2.) Will Proselyte + Piety work? Will be using a unicorn.

3.) Fire Cape or Soul Wars cape?

 

Any other tips are welcome./

This is what I do.

 

1)I say [bleep] prayers. I'm just in full bandos, a unicorn, and a few monks. If you want to use a prayer, use piety/turmoil. Protection prayers aren't needed and in my opinion are a waste. However, if you feel like it, then go with protect/deflect melee.

 

2) That would work you you. As I said in number 1, I don't use prayers. But all the same, that will work fine.

 

3) Fire cape no doubt. In a way, its like the ferocious ring. It increases the damage you do in that same way. (Don't know how much though.)

Use Bandos instead of Proselyte even if you are going to turmoil/piety, that way you wont need to pray melee which will save more pray pot in the end

I personally use verac top + bottom + fire cape and turmoil them (+ soul split flashing if I need healing).
