Maxingmck
[hide=Armor and Inventories]For this part of the guide I will assume you have a War tortoise already summoned. [hide=Armor]This is the bare minimum welfare armor but feel free to upgrade anything. Make sure that the helm of Neitiznot is charged with 90 ambush scrolls. A ring is not needed at all.[/hide] [hide=Inventory]There is: A special weapon (Dds, Dragon Claws, Gs, Etc.), 2 prayer potions, a spirit kyatt pouch, a ranging potion, 32 Saradomin Brews (14 in inventory and 18 in familiar), and 9 restore potions. This inventory is one of the best to kill nomad. Have a war tortoise summoned.[/hide][/hide] [hide=Nomad] [hide] Right when you enter the room and start the dialogue pot up and pray piety. The entire fight (except when using spec and when hiding) pray eagle eye. As soon as you can attack him pray piety and spec. Then switch to range and fire away. When he drops his bombs run south out of the minefield and west by the pillars. When he charges stop attacking and hide. Afterwards keep attacking him until he splits into 4. During this stage hide behind a pillar which will give you 1 minute to eat, take brews out of your tort, and recharge specs. When he turns back into 1 keep attacking him until he freezes you. At this time brew to over full hp and attack him until he fires his attack (NOTE: Keep your hand over the brews just in case a bolt specs so you can eat without being ko'ed. After the attack eat to full hp and keep attacking. When you are hiding behind the pillar without any brews in your tortoise dispel it and summon a kyatt. When attacking nomad now it is wise to spam special scrolls. When he goes berserk spam the scrolls, spec him, and make sure to stay above 60 hp.[/hide] NotesAlways stand over 1 space away from him so he only mages youAlways have you familiar button set to "special move"If you run out of brews hide behind a pillar and log out so you do not die and lose your accumulatorNever quit tryingSave a full special bar for berserk so you can spec him with claws/dds/gs to low hp from the startUsing this full guide I finished nomad off at 117 combat, 83 def, 86 hp, and 77 ranged with 11 brews to spare[/hide] [hide=While Guthix Sleeps]You will need to use a ranging setup with a melee weapon in your inventory. The only items needed are food and a sapphire lantern.Ok this fight is pretty easy. For the Balance Elemental you must switch prayers. The prays are as follows:Long arm – Pray meleeBow – Pray rangeNothing – Pray mageAll you have to do is pray switch to not take any damage at all.The next fight is a lot easier it is against a 2 Tormented Demons. Stand as close to the stone as possible to get healed to 255 HP the entire fight. Pretty much switch weapons and the fight is easy.[/hide] [hide=Dream Mentor]Pretty overrated fight, I only used 4 sharks. Range the first boss from a few spaces away. Make sure you eat when you get low hp. He goes down pretty fast if you just stand a few spaces away and have good mage defence. Then for the next two hide on the side just west of the lectern to safespot them as shown here. The last guy hardly hits you and just runs away [/hide] [hide=Lost City]This quest seems really hard due to the fact you can’t have weapons or armor. Well this is not true at all. You can bring runes into the area if you want to mage the spirit or you could bring feathers, arrowheads, and arrow shafts to make ammo to range him from the safespot if you hide behind the tree he spawns from.[/hide] [hide=Safespottable bosses]Lost City – Behind the treeParts 2 & 3 of Dream Mentor – Just west of the lecternMonkey Madness – Ranging the demon allowing gnomes to get hitGrand tree – Small space surrounded by rocksUnderground Pass (Demons) – On the skinny path [/hide] Good luck questing Noobs: We pay we sayJaGeX: How much will you pay? rangeor
5/10... the nomad guide is decent, but everything else sucks. I can find more information on the other bosses from Tip.it's quest guides.
Novusgamer
this used to be just a nomad guide, he added the other parts, the nomad guide works 90%+ of the time, worked first try for me and my friend (first try with the guide that is).
