I heard somewhere that medium fuses are the equivalent of rapid.

But i'm not sure that makes sense?

 

I always thought that you changed it depending on how far you wanted to throw.

I believe it is the speed of how fast they detonate. Chenwj's guide always said to use short fuse for fastest xp rates so I would suggest using that.

Medium fuse does throw them faster.

 

But supposedly it affects their accuracy. A short fuse is most accurate on nearby opponents (e.g. when you're chinning), medium on medium range, and long on long range.
