Ok. So I bought a dfs. Everyone is tellng me I should sell it for BSS + tassets/bcp ( I can't afford both, and bcp + v skirt is tacky.) Should I keep the dfs + whip + full veracs outfit I have now, or sell dfs for smaller items i.e. tassets + bss. Also I only slay, I never mh.

Now new topic: How long would torso take? I enjoy BA so that isn't the problem. Just the time.

What most of the people on here will say is that since you don't monster hunt, the extra defense from the DFS is not worth it. I'm going to agree and say that it would probably be worth your time to get other smaller items.

if you want to level up slayer, sell dfs and get rune defender, if you want to tank bandos or any other hard bosses , get dfs. Personally id get smaller items

A dfs doesnt seem worth it to me, but then again, im more of a skiller. I have yet to go to GWD, but i imagine that with a BSS and a uni, you could tank the damage fairly well without the risk and cost of a DFS. If i had to choose between a DFS and a BCP + other stuff, i would take option 2 no questions asked. The DFS looks pretty dope though, ill give it that. I would say keep it if it didnt destroy your cashpile (which it sounds like it does). You should give it a test drive, and compare it with a rune defender. Dont take our word for it, try it for yourself! In the end, its what you want anyways.

If you're on a pro team, it shouldn't take you more than two hours to get a torso. I'll play BA with you when you're ready. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

 

EDIT: Oh, and there's really no reason to have tassets or a BSS if you're melee-slaying with piety/turmoil. You should just spend the DFS money on herblore or prayer levels, IMO. When you get a torso, use that + Verac's skirt and SW cape while pietying.
