Iron Dragon Task

Recommended Posts

So I just got an Iron Dragon task from Kuradal, and I haven't had membership in about a year. I know there's tons of new things to make my task easier e.g overloads. I'm just wondering what a good way to do this task is. Stats are below. Thanks

I had steels just yesterday and I finally decided to use mage. I had full mystic (went cheap) with SOL and fire wave, pwned them. The irons were easier then having to attack them with melee.

Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.

You can also range them. Rune Cbow, anti-dragon shield, Broad Bolts, 8 antifires, 4 range pots I think. Then you take 1 does of a range pot every 2 doses of antifires. If you can get the full slayer helm that will boost your ranged damage as well. (or just a focus sight would be fine)

Here's the setup I use for kuradal's dungeon-

[hide]setup.png[/hide]

I keep all bones with the war tortoise- the profit is huge, and with the use of the fairy ring or a ferocious ring, it's so easy & quick to get back to the dungeon so it's definitely worth it. Using this setup and keeping bones I can get about 35-40 dragons per trip, so most tasks can be done in 2 trips.

The pots are supposed to be 4-dose (didn't have any in my bank at the moment to take the screenshot with).

I find that with iron dragons it doesn't matter much if you're using whip or LBS. You'll cut right through their defense either way with your levels, so it just comes down to personal preference.

For the cape, I wear the ardy cape 3 from the achievement diary (for the pray bonus). A soul wars cape would be better, but I can't be bothered to do the quest for it. If you have neither of those, a skill cape will do just fine.
