Fresh off the boat from F2P, so no members quests or diaries completed. (Not going to do any either)

Can anyone recommend me the right amount of brews/restores and optimum equipment. (20M to play with)

Completed Jad before on main and so I have experience with Prayer Switching.

Black D'hide Top/bottom

rangers/snakeskin boots

Rune C'bow

Broad bolts

Ava's Accumulator (you need to do Animal Magnetism for this one)

Rune Kite or Unholy Book (unholy book needs a quest to be done though)

 

I'd say maybe 12-14 brews and the rest for restores. You might want to switch rune platelegs for blk chaps, because you might need the extra defence. You could also switch to a rune full helm.

I think around 10-ish brews, and the rest restores. You will have to be VERY diligent with the prayer though to have enough for jad. Oh, and don't forget to pack 4 ranging potions!

 

Good luck. I would recommended getting some p2p quest, diaries, and skills done before attempting. But hey, it's your call.

- So, from what I've read, Rune C'bow > Karil C'Bow. Is this still true when not picking up bolts e.g. not using Ava's Accumulator? (Too lazy and a bit dangerous to pick up bolts manually)

- Diamond(e) bolts @ Jad.

 

Would taking Adamant Bolts be any better than taking Mithril?

Also depending on your attack lvl you might be able to borrow sgs from someone makes a world of difference.
