Recipe for disaster - Monkey Ambassador

Recommended Posts

Okay, this is a topic more directed to pures whereas I see most of them who has below 43 prayer can only obtain the mith gloves due to the strong monsters for the Monkey Ambassasdor Pre-quest for Recipe for Disaster.

I'm a level 57 pure, with no such prayer protection and have finished the quest last night to obtain my Adam gloves.

Defeating the Gorilla for the bones was quite a pain for me, but if you don't have anyone who can help you kill it (Below 50% of it's HP to see bones drop), I found a an alternative way of killing it without having to use not as much food.

You'll need:

-Dragon Dagger (P++)

-Monkey Greegree you obtained from Monkey madness.

-Food (I used sharks)

So inside the temple, it's fested with the Gorillas. Turn into Monkey form and take the ladder upstairs and you'll see a Gorilla hanging by the door. Simply just spec it 4 times and run through the door leaving him not able to reach you because he takes up 4x4 human character squares. The poison will rinse his HP and he DOES NOT heal at all because it's not being attacked.

Archer bones are easy, just go upstairs in one of the buildings and solo one there with good melee armor and good food. Should be easy, only wiped out 14 sharks for me.

Zombie bones are pretty much the same, just down that maze (where you enchange the greegree) and solo one down there.

That's all my tactics for pures, goodluck and happy questing! I'll post a few screenshots later to show a more vivid image if anyone doesn't understand fully

Thanks for your submission! However, the crew have decided that it's best not to include different ways of how to beat the boss, since there's so many ways, it'd clutter the guide. However, this is a good method for pures! If you want, you can take this, and try to expand it in detail a little more, and possibly make it a mini-guide of sorts, and place it in the guides section! Again, thanks for your post! (locking this so we know it's taken care of)
