svs
I have a question regarding an issue that has occured lately on Xbox live. When i'm on msn on my pc i cannot see my my friends that i've added on my xbox profile.Simple reason; I did not add their hotmail adress on my msn list.Question 1: Is it possible to somehow link my GT with my msn adress so i can see my friends when they're online on my pc so i don't have to switch on my xbox. I also have some real life friends with xbox live (amagawd) which i also have added on msn.- I can't see them, i can only see one of them on msn when he is on xbox live-They can't see me online on msn when they are on xbox live. -I however can see them when they're online on msn and i'm on live, but when i send a message they don't receive it, if they talk to me first then they will receive the messages i send.-This (bug?) started occuring about a year ago and i bought my xbox on release.Question 2: Is this a bug, can i fix it? If my GT can't be link then i suspect my xbox is bugged, it wouldn't surprise me and i'll tell you why :)It's oldIt's glitching all the time on games it freezes like old console system crashes with odd colors.it won't run some games (you can see a lot of games that i "played" but where i have 0 score.)When it doesn't wants to run the game it will make some very strange noises....Sometimes the green power light turns red and i've heard lots of people saying once it's red it's dead but i don't think so, its probably hanging on a thin wire now but a thin wire is all my xbox needs! I couldn't be arsed to look after a fix or check if i could actually link my GT, but since a lot of real life friends have an xbox now it's getting annoying. Wingless
Hmm, for Q1 I believe, if you used a the same hotmail account for both XBox and MSN, it will work. Of course, your friends would have needed to do the same as you have done, and then sign in and everything. But yeah, it works. Edit: Wait, you say you've not added their MSN? Then I believe your going to need to do that first off. I may be wrong though, cause I have my friends added on MSN and Xbox.

Aha, that might explain it, the one guy which i can see (but not talk to unless he talks first) has the same hotmail all the others don't. Now i just need to know how to fix the issue that i can't talk to him and like i said that only started (and never stopped) about a year ago. Just go to www.xbox.comI already went there a couple of times, i suck at searching things .Now suddenly the brilliant idea pops up in my head to ask it on those forums but meh.. cba to post there :D [~Visit my Slayer Blog~] Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. Skully
No I mean at www.xbox.com you can see who is online, what they're playing and everything you can whilst viewing your friends list on the 360 itself. Only thing you can't do is send/view/listen to picture or voice messages.
Wingless
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. If you have a thing called Games for Windows - LIVE thats basically an Xbox on your PC. It links your gamertags and you can send and read messages, use MSN aswell as being able to join parties and such.
