Game freezing (White screen and then black and stays that way)

A friend has a problem with Runescape. The game freezes. It started with the update from yesterday with the quest. She has never had this problem before.

1) Game around works (Chat and so on)

2) Keyboard and mouse does not respond

3) When the character moves it pauses/freezes a little

4) Screen goes white, and then black and stays that way.

Anyone know what the problem can be?

Fatal error: the system has become unstable or is busy," it says. "Enter to return to Windows or press Control-Alt-Delete to restart your computer. If you do this you will lose any unsaved information in all open applications."

You have just been struck by the Blue Screen of Death. Anyone who uses Mcft Windows will be familiar with this. What can you do? More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?

1 Hardware conflict

The number one reason why Windows crashes is hardware conflict. Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique

Most of that is [cabbage]. That bluescreen message is for Windows ME and previous versions, and isn't of death because you could return in windows without problems.

If I have time, I will give a better answer later, unless someone else gives an answer that works.
