I'm not sure how this thing works. It seems that it act as a teleport to the 6 house portal location...so does this mean you won't be able to teleport into the house directly instead with a chipped one? Also it used to be you can only enter your house at your chosen location, does this tablet change anything with respect to that? If it does I would expect I can enter the house at any of the 6 portal.

After the quest, you need to use a chisel on a home tele tab and specify the location.

Only the regular home tele tab teleports you to your house. The other modified home tele tabs teles you to other house portals, but you can't go into your house from those locations

No they don't tele you to your house.

That would be pointless.

 

They utilise the fairly recent tele to outside portal (in house settings u can pick this) idea, and teleport you to outside any house portal.

Each has its uses, aside from quick access to any friends house.

 

Rimmington is good for bush farm patch most notably but also a few quests around there.

Taverly useful for herblore store, obelisk for summoning (for those below kyatt) etc

Pollnivneach for blackjackers n dungeons (for those without slayer ring)

Rellekka for all the fremmenik junk (save charing lyre)

Yanille is prob lest useful especially after hard ardy diary mvoes watchtower tele inside but still handy

So you know how you can go to your House Options and select the option for the Teleport to House spell to send you in front of the house portal, instead of in your house? Well with the new tablets, you don't have the option. It always does that.
