I just chinned for about 30 minutes and I have never seen this before but I was randonmly getting spiked in areas which did not have any 5 holes (traps) in the area. It was in the location where you're soppose to chin and it was extrememly frustrating since I could not box the monkeys without getting spiked and taking damage. Could this be a glitch?

 

Also since this is so frustating and I'm 299k to 98 range and rather close to 99 range, I've decided just to go to mummies in the chaos tunnels instead. Poor idea? any suggestions?

How did they exactly nerf them?

I find it unlikely that Jagex will nerf Ape Atoll monkeys. People have claimed it many times in the past, and Jagex never actually nerfed it. Then one time they do nerf it (when they greatly slowed the regeneration time), so many people complained that they prompted unnerfed it.

 

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I think it warrants a much deeper look before you can say they nerfed it for sure.
