Need adive on gears for dks

I want to kill dks for some money and fun. I would like to duo with my best friend (his states are a bit lower than me).

Which method should I use? mage, hybird or tribird?

for the gears, what should we wear?

What should I bring in my inven?

I will have already got the herb lv for ext str by that time.

His exact stats could help considering you both could tribrid together if yes really close. If not id probably say you hybrid prime and supreme and he mages Rex.

 

Also a budget could be helpful or what kind of gear you have already. If you mage Rex a mixup of range defense and prayer magic boosting armor is recommended. People will often times use guthans with a healing summon as well.

 

make sure you plan to take a beast of burden, it drastically increases profits. Bones and hides will probably cover all or most costs.

He will train pray to 70 and also melee(he needs to train range, right?)

 

I have verac, fury, karil, z spear, arma helm/chest, torag, sw cape, anything below 40m is ok (I can lend an sgs from my friends). My friend has guthan, bgs(idk the others)

your friend should train his mage up to 80 and wear guthans, a glory, inf boots, barrows gloves, a guthix mace, a bss/obby shield, a seers ring and a guthix cloak. He should bring a guth spear in his invent and several fruit bat pouches.

 

You will be hybriding, wear a veracs skirt+helm, a fury, a karil's top, dboots a sw cape if you have it, otherwise a fire/skill/ardy 3 cape. Your going to borrow your friends SGS for supreme, and use a kxbow for prime.

Really he just needs to work on mage, defense at 78 isn't terrible, obviously higher defense would be better. But if he had guthans and gets good at it he will still be able to manage some decently length trips. But I would definitly recommend 75-80+ Magic just to increase his kill count/speed.

isi it really necessary to have a mage for killing rex, for would it be better to duo the two boss only? and what would be the approximate profit if he mages/both of us duo?
