Swan Song

Featured Replies

So here's the background to my question. I only need 36 xp to get 99 firemaking. Even lighting one reg log will do it. Well, I'm saving it for later when I can get 99 fm, cooking, and thieving all at once; a few weeks work hopefully. Now, I want to do Swan Song quest in order to fish my own Monkfish to finish off my fish collection for 99 cook (it's either that or I buy the several thousand on the G.E.). So, my question:

During Swan Song, after defeating the first wave of trolls, one of your tasks is to make iron bars into iron sheets. This calls for you to place a log into a ?firebox? and light it with tinderbox. Does lighting the firebox give any firemaking xp at all? If no, then great! If yes, then how much?

Note: If you haven't done the quest in a while and/or are uncertain of the answer please note that your answer is not fact so it's more clear for me. People who have just freshly finished the quest are the most welcomed answers. I have one friend who verified no xp earned and I'd like to see if this is unanimously true. Thanks!

Runescape wiki includes the smithing xp of iron sheets, but says nothing about the firebox. So as far as I'm aware, no it doesn't.
