December 1, 200520 yr How close are you reletive to the router/modem/server? If you are too far and get poor conection, then disconnections happen quite often. Resigned From Runescape - Alpha_120 --> Level 69 -ArenaScape-Join Clan UCORB ~ Rank #5 ClanClan members, need something? PM ME!!!

December 1, 200520 yr You didn't answer my question. How far are you away from your wirelsess router? does the signal go through a floor? In wirelss networks, there are two things to look at, signal quality, and signal strength. for some odd reason widnwos xp only tells you the signal strength....unless you have special programs. If you have poor signal quality, It directly affects your iinternet. Also, have you tried reinstalling your network card? December 15, 200520 yr i have this exact problem...my main router is in my basement but it's on my dads laptop in the room next door...i told him to put it on this computer but no one listens to me...having the main router on a laptop is rediculous but my friends tell me that a pci adapter card worked really well for them to correct those problems ~Old School Scaper~
December 16, 200520 yr Get a norelco wireless card and hook it up to your lappy/deskytop, problem solved :D
December 18, 200520 yr IS it interferance or is it just too far away from the router? If it is too far away from the router Add a few "Repeaters" (Extends wireless network)
