Took me about 40 minutes because I was reading up on Terragen and how to operate some of the stuff(seems sort of confusing.) I didn't really try to make it the best I could that's why I think it's a really messed up scene but here is is anyway:

 

 

 

Also small question: how do I get water to show on my scenery?

I'm pretty sure to get water you just raise the water lvl. Keep raising it untill you think theres enough. (you'll see blue on the map thing if theres water).

u gotta make the water level above the land.

hey man, thats not too bad for very first start, just try to start off with realistic looks and then move to abstract looks. btw, to get water on yer deal just go to water and raise the sea level till you can see the blue stuff on the map then just place camera, different angles, terrain and surface maps and with practice it'll look good. also if you need any help just pm me for advice.
