I'm a little worried about the presence of malware on tip.it forums, however, I'm sure it's a mid read by my computer. August 1, 201015 yr Hi, In the case of that thread, a user had an avatar hosted on a site that contained Malware. To Elaborate, in this case his avatar was from a website for a record company, albeit a small one that has either been hacked or changed their advertising to where the page and contents on them - are no longer secure. Often the hacker modifies things like Images (like free avatars, or images or the main page) to accomplish his goal. Due to the fact that users can host an avatar from anywhere - This can occasionally happen - and often accidentally. If this persists or becomes common - we may look into possibly restricting this feature as is - but as of now the general chances of this happening are farily low. The avatar has been moved, and the site has been added to our filter. ~Das.
