Elemental Workshop III - wrong quest guide

I can't solve the 4th puzzle in the quest as explained in the guide, I do not know what's wrong with the formula but I've tried it several times without result.

May I suggest to the crewbies that you retweak your guide to this, when your first added the puzzle to your guide you used my walkthrough, but for some reason you:

a) dragged infinite moves counter to the top which confused the hell outta some people and made it "optional" which makes puzzle harder

b) Added a reset into the middle of my part 5 (your 3 and 4) and therefore wrote your own part 4 which continually is getting called up as being wrong.

 

This solution of mine 100% works no issues at all; I've thoroughly checked it and many people from tip.it and my clan have used it flawlessly.

 

 

Puzzle 1 (Lowering Right Corner)

C, 5, B, 6, C, 5, E, 6, C, 5, E, 2, F, 5, E, 4, F, 5, E, 6, F, 3, C, 2, F, 3, C, 2, F, 3, D, 2, F, 3, E, 5, F, 2, E, 5, F, 3, Reset.

 

Puzzle 2 (The Right Hand Counter, 50 extra moves):

5, A, 6, F, 5, A, 6, F, 5, B, 6, F, 5, C, 6, F, 5, D, 6, F, 5, E, 6, F, 5, E, 3, F, 4, E, Reset.

 

Puzzle 3 (Lowering Left Corner):

A, 5, B, 6, C, 5, A, 6, E, 2, B, 5, E, 2, B, 5, E, 2, B, 5, E, 2, B, 3, C, 2, F, 3, B, 5, E, 3, B, 5, F, 2, B, 6, E, 5, D, 6, F, 4, E, 6, F, 4, E, 5, Reset.

Puzzle 5 (Lowering the Middle):

Puzzle 5 cont. NO RESET (Making it Spin):

C, 4, B, 6, E, 4, F, 6, A, 5, E, 6, B, 2, F, 6, B, 2, F, 6, C, 5, E, 6, F, 4, E, 5, B.

 

Puzzle 5 cont. NO RESET (Raising the Middle):

4, C, 5.

 

The Puzzle is now finished and set-up for quick bar making, as along as you do not reset.

How to lower, recharge and raise centre again:

4, 5, 4, B, C, 5.

A staff member recently went on this quest and found you could also do the first puzzle with this much shorter set of coordinates:

 

C, 2, F, 6, C, 2, F, 6, C, 2, E, 5, B, 3, F, 2, B, 3, F, 2, E, 4, F, 3, RESET

Ah good to see some progress is being made to fixing this, even if the first bit is miles away from the broken part; which if you used my guide as is would've been working fine.

Alright, I have now updated the guide with the proper coordinates. Do not hesitate to let me know if there is something wrong with the guide after this modification.

 

I'll leave this topic open for that purpose.

 

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we have caused and I take personal responsibility for having the wrong combination in the guide for so long.

Good to see the guide fully functioning.

 

Though I feel obliged to point out puzzle 2 (50 extra moves) isn't strictly a necessary step. I put it there as that's the order I did the quest in and puzzle 3 solution is exactly 50 moves so the 50 extra can account for error correction should u pull the wrong lever.

 

And a couple of minors I noticed: Items required it should be Slashed book OR Battered Book; although I don't think you actually need the book to get into the dungeon only the key. The book is only required if you want to make a sheild, same as Beaten book lets you make helms and Ragged Book lets you make bodys
