So I've recently returned to the game after five years and have been playing for a couple weeks now. I've checked out the new skills a bit getting my hunter, summoning, dungeoneering, and farming up to around 30. Having been gone for so long though I could use a little direction of what I should work on. My combat levels are in my sig and I have about 4m, whip/rdf, guthans to work with.

 

I know I want to level combat some so what should I be killing? And what other skills should I work on for money?

I did smoking kills and invested in a Black Mask so I'll be concentrating on slayer for a while. I've done RFD for gloves. Are there any other newer quests I should be looking at?

I would save your money and slay for a while. The money will slowly pile up and you'll be training your combat stats as well.

 

As far as other skills to profit from, maybe runecrafting nature runes or fishing monkfish.

Do quests. They're the best way to develop your character. When in doubt, quest! And since you asked, you're obviously in doubt, so...quest!

 

Also, farm herbs for money. There's a good guide in the Archive of Wisdom if you need it.

Set up your dailies routine, farming run, and especially manage thy kingdom first. Then do a mix of slayer for combat training, and quests to move forward overall. Make a list of a few quests you want to do, then write the requirements you need (if any) stats, quest-lines, etc. And just set daily goals.
