Flipping Advice?

I'm liquidating some unused portions of my bank. I will end up with somewhere between 20 and 30m free that I would like to flip effectively. If anyone could give me some pointers on managing risk and getting good returns, please let me know. Thanks!

-Don't pick an item that is in the top 100 most traded to flip.

 

-Items with 10 or 100 volume limit generally work best. Ideally, buying at the volume limit should be at least 50% of your cash.

 

-Look for any cyclical patterns in graphs. They can help you predict when an item is going to rebound.

 

-W2 GE is a good indication of where prices are going. At the far left, for example, are people selling GWD items. If several people advertise "Selling arma plate and skirt", you know they're going down.

 

-Forums are also a good indicator of price trends.

 

-You may test the GE by buying one item you are interested in. If it buys immediately for medium price, it is probably going down. If it does not buy for medium price, it is probably going up.

 

-Typically people put buy or sell offers in with even numbers (e.g. 3,500,000 for a whip). You can exploit this by subtracting or adding a few GP from your offer (3499542 to sell, 3501245 to buy, for example)

 

-Sometimes when you know the direction an item's price is heading but don't know the equilibrium price, you can further test the waters. If you know an item is going up, you can put 1 item 1% above med and the rest 4% above med, for example. If the 1% item sells but the 4% don't, then you know the equilibrium price is between 1-4%. Keep doing this until you figure it out.
