I once made recovery questions, but later when i logged in again i found the recovery questions gone. And at the time i thought "Maybe the questions lasts for a month and then it needs to be changed".

 

So does the questions stay perm or must you make new questions all the time?

They are permanent...until you change them, whenever you want.
