What's the best weapon type to get a hold of in F2P Dungeoneering?

The best ranged longbow or the magic staff that you prefer, as you can't make these in free play.

 

If you're purely meleeing (I doubt it), the best spear, 2h, rapier, longsword or battleaxe are all solid choices.

SpineBeam Longbow, Empowered Fire Staff, if <65 Runecrafting, 125 death runes, if > 65 Runecrafting, 125 Fractite arrows.

If you really need a melee weapon, I'd go with the spear.

 

(this is assuming you can make any fractite item)

You actually can't use an empowered fire staff on f2p, just the regular one.

 

But yeah, that and the catalytic staff are solid choices.

You can get Spears on F2P?

 

And yeah, this account isn't that great, maxing out with 45's in Melee stats, Ranged and Magic are pitiful, so I'm dealing with Melee. :|

Yep spears are free play weapons in Daemonheim. You didn't know that? :mellow:

 

So yeah, stick with fractite spear + platebody.
