Ur shields the wrong way..

Hmmm... I don't see how it is to be honest... its facing right, as he is running towards something... :\ Could you explain what is wrong?

Something like this:

 

 

 

The shield is facing towards the right hand side of the sig. He's running right. He's defending from the right. The brown part is the face of the shield, so the only part visible is the right left hand side... (when looking at the shield head on)

Editted, Shield flipped over, Colours are probably a bit messed up, can't do anything about it with these awful college monitors...

Iliky lol.... Hmmm.... Thats a pretty popular pose, ive seen quite a few sig with that type of pose. I really don't need to say anything about the sheild because every one else has said something about it. But let me just say that it looks like he is holding it from the wrong side. If this is a rough draft type thing then I will have to say that it is very good. The shading needs a tad bit of work because it looks some what like the platebody, but the muscles have no shape. The scimatar looks a little weird because it is sort of small... Easily fixed. The face looks a little to pale. The santa needs a bit of work too. It looks like the body is in front of the hat, but it should be that the santa is infront of the body. Also maybe add a white trim where the hat meets the head. If you want my rating, here it is:

 

 

 

10/10 for effort

 

 

 

8/10 for the pose

 

 

 

7/10 for the shading

 

 

 

8/10 for the sheild

 

 

 

and 9/10 for the overall product so far

 

 

 

Add a new backround and fix these small mistakes and it will make a very nice signature, I think that someone might bid around 300-500k for it because it is very nice so far.

I think I can see why some people think it appears wrong, and I have to admit at first glance I thought so too. It appeas as though the shield's front where it receives impact is in the inside rather than the outside at a quick glance, but upon closer inspection, it is correct.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try angling the shield a bit more closer towards the character's left (that is, turn the right side out a little more) and maybe it's be easier to see that it's actually the right way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that, very nice pose for the character! Shading is pretty good as well.

Yes, I apoligize, I did not take a good look at the shield at first, it just looked wrong in my opinion. I now realise that in fact you are correct in the angle of your shield, don't forget to add a nice backround :D
