  1. I had him 7 or 8 times when I was mining rune essence in Varrock. 3 times in 2 hours I think it was one day. I've never had a forester though. Heh.
  2. I was amazed at how hard it was to get black armour from black knights. :(
  3. Heh, I love old tip.it. Purple rune there too! I remember when I realised that I was better off bookmarking tip.it/runescape, rather than tip.it itself. :)
  4. Probably moments from the EARLY days. RS1 time. "Mine equal amounts of copper and tin, then go to Lumbridge and smelt them." Banking never even occurred to me in those days. Haha. :\
  5. Why not make an official forum topic? You can have Crafters, and guardians. That way, you might get a whole range of Guardian levels, all alching/superheating/fletching, and a load of Crafters. It'd work if you publicised enough; there are so many Abyss Crafters.
  6. I'd spend a day playing Castlewars. Provided I could afford a whip that is. Otherwise I'd have to do one of the Dragon-Equip quests first.
  7. Ice giant looks MUCH better... Loving the greaters too!
  8. No, firemaking is just that; Making fires. Cooking, on the other hand, is a potentially huge skill, that most people only use for cooking lobsters etc.
  9. Maybe I was a little over-critical, because I did actually enjoy reading it. I think the problem here, as with every form of media, is compromise. Maybe the editor, whoever he/she may be hasn't had one of those "rant-inducing moments", but because a select part of the audience demands weekly updates, He (editor) feels he must release an article. Maybe this isn't the case. Maybe it's a different editor writing a different story. Either way, I enjoy reading the articles every week, even if some aren't so crticial.
  10. I can't help noticing that you seem to have completely overlooked barrows, and the quite recent introduction of a few level 300+ monsters; activities which thousands strive to partake in, and continue to partake in, even after they loot their first Dragon hatchet, or after they've fully assembled their chosen barrows set. I've always found that Runescape is a game that can be played in the user's own way; I raise my stats so I can do activity A, with player B, or even look good in front of players C, D and E. I feel no need to do anything I don't want to. Runescape, to me, has never been about chasing goals and stopping afterwards. There's just too much scope for that, so much more to do. Your article reads as if you play the game only to do what JAGeX "tells" you to, rather than spending time talking to friends, struggling with the economy, or just finding new ways to annoy autoers... Another thing; I've started losing interest in these "articles". They're losing their direction, and they don't seem to be tackling any real issues any more.
  11. Hmmm first update I can really remember is the RS2 update. I was around before the wilderness, but I don't really remember them introducing it, so I guess it doesn't count. Heh, in the old days, I was completely oblivious to the front-page news. :\ Infact! The update I remember most was the one when they updated the rocks! They actually put a timer-script-thingy so you had to wait to mine a rock... That one still annoys me today. It was so much easier before :\
  12. Remoteman: Bryce is brilliant in landscaping; Far better than C4D in that aspect. I've always used it, along with 3DS...
  13. Yup, the legs should be longer, and the pose is off; unless he's facing away from the 'camera', when it's fine. Can't wait to see this one.
  14. The last one's fairly nice. :) And the new devART is way to Schizophrenic for my liking; v4 was so consistent in it's style.
  15. Hmm, In my opinion, lens flares are best used as lens flares... Big shiney balls of energy are much better using a few basic circles, and outward smudging... Nice tutorial for anyone wanting to do things this way though.
  16. You've clearly never watched The Fast and the Furious. Heh, I'd love to see an RS movie made to the same production standards as, oh, Sword of the Valiant... If you've seen that movie, you'll get the joke. ;)
  17. Axeraider's sig is SO COOL. All your base are belong to us!
  18. Just because Under 13s are no longer playing Runescape, doesn't mean to say that any Over 13s aren't offended by swearing. There's just no need for it. Swearing can be used to good effect, but it takes effort, effort which isn't there during a runescape conversation. Used blatantly, Curse words, Profanity, whatever you may call them, will only make you seem immature and petty.

    Lolly Pop.

Yuhuh, just a quick upload, letting some of those that remember me from aaaages back know that I'm still pixelling... http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/6455/lolly5bm.png No Crits thanks, I like it as it is...
  20. That's because in a racing video game, there are limits on the amount of tris one can use, and the filters too, for that matter. My only crit is that, well, it's a car :\ My experience in 3d modelling work leads me away from building things already determined... The shape of this was already perfect before it was built, so although the building process is well done, and the wrapping is okay, I'll reserve judgement, as the actual design of it isn't strictly your own.
  21. I would Quote, but the post would just be big and ugly. No, I didn't mean that he was expressing himself, but the way the first few posts were just 'OMG that looks bad y u post here???', kinda annoyed me... If a picture is 'bad', but expressive in some way, then surely it shouldn't be criticised on it's technical faults?
  22. Spam? What's the point? Post reported. =\ the person was just commented his works... LOVE YOUR WORK!! gonna report me now too? Nice work, B2D. im sure these avvys/sig will find a nice little space under someones posts :) Three words. The rest was 'Oooh I got first post - go me!' Ugh nevermind... Gold, your post was more off-topic than the original. Anyway, Some nice work B2D.
  23. Art is a form of expression. Whilst many may use art as something to gain praise from others, I use it to advance, to challenge myself. Why does something have to look good?
