Because it gives the defence bonus? It's like asking why one would by Dragon armour, when barrows is stronger, and cheaper... Shame the Obsidian cape is so ugly...

I hate the way you've disregarded anything without a reward as pointless... Castlewars is fun, even if you are on the losing team. The games room is fun, even if you gain nothing... Surely we all play Runescape because it's fun?

No it won't make a difference... 'I' will still be 'i' in the middle of a word. 'L' will be 'L" at the start of a word.

Wow... that obviously never happened then... 1) Masks were not worth 1,000,000gp each until way after RS2's release. 2) Half-Wines were worthless on RS1. You could still make them. Were you even around on RS1?

Thanks ;) When I asked about taking damage, I meant from the actual abyss monsters though. How hard do they tend to hit? And is it easy enough just to run through taking virtually no damage?

I need a few questions answering about the abyss. It'd help if an experienced abyss runner were to answer. :) 1) About what level are abyss pkers in general? Could they do alot of damage to a level 70? Or would their level be too high? 2) I have 1 defence, and 70 hits. Will I take alot of damage just getting to the Altars? 3) Are levels needed to get past the mining/woodcutting/agility part? Thanks in Advance. RcS

You put across a good argument, but I can't completely agree. I wouldn't say that JAGeX encourages macroers directly; they don't need to. One look at eBay for example is enough for any guy to think 'Wow, I can make money here from setting up an autoclicker!' Favourite Vegetable? Uh, not too sure... Probably Sweetcorn :)

Great Read, but I don't see why there's all of this negativity. It was an interview... Not the secret to Zezima's 99s. I personally loved both N0valyfe's and Zezima's interviews. They both showed off the character of each player, and destroyed the 'no lifer' image that people have of them. When an interviewer asks a question, surely you can expect the reply to fit in with the player's personality. The 'annoying aspects' question, for example, was particularly good for me as it really brought out the difference between 2 of Runescape's best players... You can't really expect the same answer from every player, can you now? RcS

I didn't see alot of flaming, merely arguments against his idea. I personally think it's a load of nonsense. I've looted 2 rune meds before from lessers, within the space of 5 minutes, meaning that the theory Fook put forward is pretty much impossible. I believe that there is a calculated chance of finding an item. Lets say 1/1000 Drag Chain, 24/1000 Drag Legs, 100/1000 Rune Baxe, 875/1000 GP. So there is Always a chance of finding a Drag Chain, but a greater chance of finding Drag Legs. The Drag Legs will therefore be 24x more common a drop than the Chain. Although more likely to be found more often, there is still a chance that you'll find 10 chains to every 1 legs you loot, even if it is highly unlikely...

I wish the Drumming intro to Strange Deja Vu would last a bit longer too though :P I love it :P Maybe the Mosquito Song (QOTSA) aswell... AMAZING, possibly my favourite song of all time.

Hmmm... Try Mark Lanegan, that guy is awesome. He does Rock music, but his solos stuff is more easy listening... How about the Avalanches, or Willy Mason? I know they're like uber well known, but I'll say the Verve and Massive attack too. They're not Rock, and theyre both amazing.
