Black screen, but still with sound and custom cursors...

Featured Replies

Everytime I try to actually PLAY RuneScape I get a black screen, although I can still hear the music in the background, and the custom cursor will change as I move it across the screen. I can access the lobby without problem.

I have tried all the obvious fixes, such as reinstalling Java, loading it in Firefox instead of IE, and reducing the graphical setting to minimum.

What can I do to try to fix this?

*I am on my college computer which has Windows 7 Home Premium installed.

Well I did set the graphics to minimum but I didn't try using OpenGL or some other instead, so let me try that...

OpenGL works, with slight graphical glitches. Ah well. Thanks anyway!
