Man_Of_Doom
Void takes forever to get for skills, but I have a nice range set. How is it more useful than other more powerful range gear?
Grimy_Bunyip
I made the following post earlier today. Too lazy to reword it so here you go :P A graph based on my DPS calculatorthought you guys would be interested. gear is Full Armadyl, Fury, Archer (i), ranger boots, barrows gloves, 99 ranged, extreme ranging potions, rune crossbow, broad bolts, rapid stancevsFull Helmet, Legs, Gloves, Deflector, Armadyl Body Fury, Archer (i), ranger boots, barrows gloves, 99 ranged, extreme ranging potions, rune crossbow, broad bolts, rapid stance Armadyl catches up at higher defense levels, but it never quite makes it assuming this gear.Granted this gear invokes a very high accuracy rating for void, and it might be skewed in void's favor for this reason. This actually contradicts a previous DPS calculation I made and posted years ago on TIF.But back then I assumed that ranged boosted by +10% accuracy and damage. As opposed to +10% ranged level + damage (which is about +10% accuracy and +20% damage) as recent data as shown. also, the deflector helps out a bit by letting you wear a ranging body.at 1000 def rating on the graph, full armadyl will be hitting ~ 25% of the time. manitstinks
It's just good for non slayer monsters where you don't need a lot of defence. Has a bit of mage def though if it matters.
