Runescape Fair - the event for creators!

Featured Replies

This is a suggestion i am suggesting because of the nice art of Runescape that i have seen in forums and here on mainsite.

<-------------------WHAT IS RS FAIR?------------------->

Runescape Fair is a gathering for Runescape players where they will display art & other things they have created. Jagex should also make products for sale on this fair. Ten creators will be awarded with rewards!

<-------------------THE PURPOSE/GOAL------------------->

This event goals is to gather players of Runescape to meet eachother in real life, and also to show of their work. This suggestion has good potential because it asks people who are going to make a creation to be creative. And knowing how nice it is to look at people's art I'm positive many people would appreciate to come to the event to view the creations.

Summing up the event:

* Jagex giving rewards for top 10 creations (voted by people attending the event+Jagex)

* Meeting fellow players

* Viewing fellow players creations and also Jagex products

<-------------------THE EXPERIENCE------------------->

From the moment you start working on something your gonna display at Runescape Fair, til you are there and displaying it, you will get a good feeling of achievement. You did some research to find out how to create a thing in real life and you succeeded. And now that your at Runescape Fair, people can see your achievement, and if your lucky you might be rewarded (perhaps Runescape lifetime membership!).

I hate to be negative, but.... How many people who do all sorts of RS art live within driving distance of Cambridge?

Answer: a fraction of them. Most wouldn't be able to attend tbh.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

They said that about Runefest 2010. Look what happened.

To unspam, it wouldn't surprise me if they did something like this in the next Runefest. People really liked to take stuff they'd made (or just wear a partyhat) even when they weren't asked to!
