When is it worth while to use the Super Prayer's instead of just regular prayer potions. The boost doesn't seem worth the cost of something like slaying abberant spectres, so should I save them for say boss hunting?

Only when inventory space actually matters. So, yes, use them for bosses. Never for slayer.
