Different Set ups

Ok so Ive got 80 range, 65 magic, and 75 defence. Im going to be slaying till i get to 85 (currently 70), and I was wondering what are the best setups for each kind of monster attack (meaning range, magic and melee).

 

Oh Ive got about 40m to spend btw.

There not really a universal where x agaisnt mage etc setup.

It highly depends on the monster, what prayers and attack styles you use etc.

 

About the only rule that is good to follow is range gear = good agaisnt mages.

for melee it varies whether you are praying or not

fury>glory

sw cape>trimmed skill cape>fire cape

prossy body

verac skirt

dragon boots

chaotic wep>whip~ss~zs>dragon

zammy book for non tanking not sure on the bonuses of the new books so check them out maybe

i know you wont be able to afford the best with 40m but theres a start for you, i didnt include ridiculous items such as spirit shields which would be better.

obviusly use range set up with melee weapon when they monster uses mage, melee when they range and melee when they melee

FSH > Farseer helm

Ahrims Body > Dragon Hai top > Mystic top

Ahrims Skirt > Dragon Hai skirt > Mystic skirt

Arcane Stream > Fury > Glory

Infinity boots > Mystic boots

Sol > Master wand

Barrows Gloves > Other RFD gloves

Fero ring or Seers ring depending on where you're slaying

BSS, Mages book or Zammy book depending on whether you need defence and can afford mages book.
