MrNiceGuy69
My problem's essence is that whenever I click 'Play now' on rs mainpage: 1) Using Mozilla - "The connection was reset" - a white window describing the error appears.2) Using anything else - black screen. If examining the error, why Mozilla crashed like that, I got this: www.runescape.com : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555Tried re-installing firefox, downloaded latest Software Updates and even tried manual installing of java, but no success. Consulted websites regarding my problems, but to none avail A persisting problem for the last week. Never have had that before. Using a mac (haters gonna hate), but that shouldn't mean anything, as a simple browser should handle Runescape. (Tech specs are way over the requirements) ...on my way to a Def 1 Hybrid.. for the 2nd time - Wow !
Sy_Accursed
Java + mac = not always a happy pairing. Java frequently has issues on macs, and with a java app as complex as rs that is alot of potential fail. D. V. Devnull
Questions for you, NiceGuy... What version of Mozilla FireFox are you using? Further, what else can you tell us about things like your Java version, Graphics Card, OpenGL Version, etc.? Answering these can help others diagnose your issue. ~D. V. "The more info, the better." Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
