Buyers and Cellars

Featured Replies

Hi,

At the Buyers and Cellars guide ( http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=217 ) the first part:

Buyers and Cellars

Skills Required: None

Items Required: Any Logs and a Tinderbox

Should be changed to:

Buyers and Cellars

Skills Required: 5 thieving

Items Required: Any Logs and a Tinderbox

Although it is no requirement to start the quest, if you try pickpocketing the dummy with a thieving level less then 5 (I tried with level 1 ) it doesn't work and after a while Darren will say that you can come back after you have reached level 5 thieving. Sorry I didn't make any screenshots.

I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Thanks!

Thank you for your submission :)

Apparently, pickpocketing the dummy but not doing a good enough job still gives XP, so I figure Jagex intended you to level on the dummy if your skill level wasn't high enough. If something similar occurs in any other quest, such a skill level is listed as a requirement (even if you can start or even partially complete the quest without said skill level), so I don't get why this isn't done here. I'll go ahead and list it as a requirement, the change should be visible shortly.
