shawn3090
Yesterday I bought an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 Wireless All-in-one printer. I configured it with my wireless router then installed the software on the cd. It installed HP solution manager and HP digital imaging monitor. Ever since then, msiexec[Caution: Executable File] (I know what it does) has been running constantly on my computer. I tried to restart twice, but it does not go away. Randomly it will launch other processes and use the entire cpu for about 5 seconds, which is really starting to annoy me. What is it doing, and what can I do about it? mister_moocky
It sounds like your computer is a msiexecual. It is probably a phase that it will grow out of with future patches however if it seems adamant this is right you may have to simply accept it. Try to be supportive and be aware that just because your computer is different doesn't mean it's worth any less. quit
shawn3090
Future patches? I am getting a computer in 2 weeks (stupid lenovo takes so long to build) and I don't want this to happen to it just because of the printer. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy.
