September 19, 201015 yr My dad built a brand new computer and we have it hooked up to our tv via a HDMI cable. It runs perfectly fine but we are just missing the edges of windows and the top and bottom (Can't see the red X in the top right hand corner) and can barely see the start button in the bottom left. We've tried messing with the resolution and haven't gotten it to work yet. September 19, 201015 yr Usually when this happens on my monitor (sometimes on startup and stuff) I just press the "auto" button on it. I doubt there is something like that on your tv, unless it is hidden in a menu. Try searching the manual. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."-Joseph Stalin

September 19, 201015 yr Yeah, I too was thinking that it was the overscanning. But perhaps someone more knowledgeable with the situation can elaborate.
