New Members Weapons/Armor!

Well, i've been thinking of some new ideas for pking, and one came to mind that I think you guys might like, I sure think it would be a great improvement. The idea came to mind when I remembered that Pyrefiends had melee attacks, but were MAGIC based.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, my idea is just that, magic based melee weapons. How would this work you ask? Well, mage level is NOT a factor, melee is. The higher your melee, the higher and more accurate you'll hit. BUT, it hits WAY better on melee armor (Rune, dragon, etc..), but does not hit good on Dragonhide armor. Protection from Melee would stop these attacks more effectively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why though? Well, very often you see two meleers fighting, with a bunch of 0's, kind of pointless if you ask me. Well with these weapons, warriors (melee based fighters) can hit very good against rune/dragon, while using there melee stats to help. This would add another element of danger to the wilderness, because warriors would be easier to kill by other warriors, because when you get 100+ it's often a lot of 0s, but smart fighters would put on dragonhide, then offering more chances for KO's with daggers/whips.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Weapons

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can't make pictures, or I'd just embarass myself :lol: , so I'll just post some names and descriptions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fire Flail

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A bright one-handed flail, stats simliar to Abyssal Whip, speed around that of Verac's Flail, little faster though.

 

 

 

-- Special (55%)l: Weaken: Has 50/50 chance of burning one of your opponents food.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Air Sword

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A bright white one-handed sword, stats similiar to that of a Dragon Scimitar, with higher strength, and a bit faster.

 

 

 

-- Special (85%): High chance of unequipping your oponents weapon, can be reequipped, also hits +5 of normal hit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Water Maul:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Giant maul, stats similar to that of Dharoks Greataxe, slightly faster.

 

 

 

-- Special (50%): Hits harder :) , running out of ideas.

They are ok, a bit generic though, try and really stretch your imagination and suprise us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They're also a bit on the over powered godly weapon side, tone them down. Also you haven't told us how players get them, buy them from a store? Kill a monster and get a rare drop? Undergo a complicated forging process?

A Dragon Pickaxe which special is prevents teleporting much like teleblock. That should end the whining of lots of PKers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On second thoughts, add a dart/throwing knife that does the same thing too.

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.
