October 8, 201015 yr Hey guys/gals. My laptop is running Windows XP SP3. Occasionally, I use MSN messenger. Now, because of MSN's little use, I decided not to run it at start up using msconfig -> startup. That works fine, until I go and use MSN again. As soon as I open it, it decides that it will run itself at start up again, until I uncheck it again. No other program does this. How can I stop it doing this, It's getting annoying... Thanks Tip.It. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
October 8, 201015 yr May sound stupid but have you went to the main MSN Messenger window, click the Tools menu, and then click Options. Click the General tab, and then clear the Automatically run Messenger when I log on to Windows check box.
