Glockslinger
I posted this in another place by mistake. I beat this one and verified the Defilers do not have to be killed. This works. 15. Upon attacking the queen, pray protect melee. When a Defiler appears, pray protect magic and kill the Defiler. When your screen shakes and the queen stops attack (as if charging), switch to Korasi's sword and use a special attack on her; this will stop her from killing all allies attack her and hitting you for about 500 damage. Your void ranger allies will attack the void drones healing the queen so it's vital they stay alive. Should be:15. Upon attacking the queen, pray protect melee. When a Defiler appears, pray protect magic and kill the Defiler. You may also attack them one time to draw their attention to you rather than the Void Rangers. One hitting them will keep them from re-spawning too. Tips:If you stand to her left or right it will keep your knights alive longer as fer attacks will no longer hit all of them.
Zaaps1
Added the ability to draw the Defiler's attention. I can confirm that personally. However, I'm going to need proof or confirmation of others that one-hitting the Defilers prevents them from respawning and that standing to the side of the queen prevents a few Knight deaths. Thanks! :) ~It's Super Effective! Thanks! :) I can confirm this for you. When I did this quest, I would just 1-hit the defilers (both of them) and just takes the little damage they dealt. As long as 2 of them were alive in the room, no others would show up (at least they didn't the entire time I was doing this). Also...at least for me, not all my allies would be killed with the Queens uber attack. All the allies that were fighting melee would get killed, and the 2 archers that the Queen was facing would die, but the other 6 archers would survive. Thanks! :) I cant say any thing about the 1 hitting yet, I've tried to kill her about 10 times already and now I have gone to the forums, but I can definitely say that if you attack all the way to the right or the left your nights do not get hit. But I will try that defiler tip. I keep dying cause I run out of special attack bar, and my herb-lore level isn't quite there yet to be able to make one.(are there any other items that can restore special attack bar? that hopefully can be purchased) Truthfully we're all just kids. I died a couple times because I ran out of special attack. The best tip I can give, is to make sure you're completely healed up (sara brew if necessary) so that the Queen's special attack doesn't kill you. Then eat up quickly to regain the lost life and get back to the attack. Taking 1 hit from her special should give you enough time to get at least 1 more hit in with Korasi's special attack. So long as the defilers are focused on you, the archers will kill off the healers fairly quick and that makes all the difference (at least it did for me). Aurhora
Confirmed that standing to one side of the Queen can help prevent knights from dying (also helps to keep the defilers trapped). Confirmed that smacking a defiler once and leaving it alive will prevent that particular Defiler from respawning. Thanks for the corrections guys!
