i am doing the lumbridge hard tasks but do not have 57 runecrafting, i know that it is possible to do it under 57 runecrafting.

 

I was wondering how that could be achieved. (e.g. explaining luck, levels, resources)

Wearing the explorer's ring (at least (2)) gives you a 10% chance of crafting extra elemental runes. This with the possibility of getting extra runes per essence based on level makes it possible to complete the requirement at less than the specified level, though how much less I can't say.

wearing the explorer's ring doesn't count. Only the chance to get extra runes count. I suggest you don't wear the ring at all while trying to achieve it.
