Runescape Refuses To Work

Featured Replies

So I just came back to Runescape after a good 6 month absence...or at least I tried to come back, but for some reason, I can't play the game.

I press the "play now" button and then my computer freezes up for a few seconds, then I get a message saying "Tab closed unexpectedly. Tab recovered." Then it freezes a little again and then it finally tells me "Windows cannot display web page." or something to that effect.

I'm not entirely sure as to what to do, so if anyone of you wonderful people could suggest something, I'd appreciate it very much.

Oh and in the event that I posted this in the wrong forum, please move me, I'm still getting used to TIF and such again. :-?

Try using a different browser, and check that your Java is up-to-date.

Moved to Tech & Computers :) It sounds like your problem may have been solved but I moved it to the correct forum just in case you still have trouble! Help & Advice is great but usually Tech & Computers is better for all questions and problems related to computers and other technical issues :)
