So I just came back to Runescape after a good 6 month absence...or at least I tried to come back, but for some reason, I can't play the game. I press the "play now" button and then my computer freezes up for a few seconds, then I get a message saying "Tab closed unexpectedly. Tab recovered." Then it freezes a little again and then it finally tells me "Windows cannot display web page." or something to that effect. I'm not entirely sure as to what to do, so if anyone of you wonderful people could suggest something, I'd appreciate it very much. :wink: Oh and in the event that I posted this in the wrong forum, please move me, I'm still getting used to TIF and such again. :-?

I can't imagine what their drumming is going to be like now, he was soooo good! I will miss him!

Some people will freak out or just use the day as an excuse to riot and loot. People will have hugeass, super expensive parties to celebrarte the last day, some people will inevitabley kill themselves, lots of news coverage on anything slightly out of the ordinary...then it'll be the next day, everyone will have a super hangover...and then we go back to our lives again :mellow:

I'm no drummer, but Redneck by Lamb of God sounds pretty difficult on drums...pretty being extremely.

I saw Judas Priest and Whitesnake and they were pretty awsome. I'm gonna see Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament pretty soon, I can't wait to see Slayer! <3:

Win by all means neccesary. That's not wrong, that's just playing the game. And from what I have experienced, fighting back isn't the best thing to do...

Well, I'm just going to say, when Stellar Dawn comes out, I'm sure there's going to be a lot of people who stop playing Runescape to see what it's like, but, honestly, I think thats good. It rids the Runescape community of a lot of players who don't enjoy the game as much as those who stay. An hopefully, thoe who stay are generally more decent and friendly than the people that leave. So, in a sense, or at least what I hope will happen, is that a majority of the irritating people leave in hopes of finding "a better game" and will leave a community of generally better people in its absence.

Well, technically speaking, Slayer is only useful for unlocking new enemies and the occasional piece of equipment. But I personally find it crucial to my day to day Runescape existance because it makes training combat less boring when I have to travel to some out of the way place and kill some out of the way monster. And, sometimes the money is good, its not amazing, but its tolerable, at least for me. So basically, the skill itself is too useful, but when used for other means, it is nice and fun.

Well, when I was just starting playing Runescape, I remember at one point I forgot how to train defence =D> so I was literally stuck wearing leather bodies :roll: and then when a nice, random stranger told me how (without calling me a [developmentally delayed] :grin: ) I noticed a significant improvement when I fought NPCs and such...

If you like MMOs and it makes you happy, then of course its worth it. If you are content living your life this way, then, by all means, do what makes you happy. And for everyone else, if you've learned of a magical thing called moderation, then go ahead and play. You do in fact learn a few life lessons from Runescape from your day to day interactions with people. I play when I have time to kill or I'm bored, if a friend wants to hang, well then I would do that, but if I have nothing to do, then I play Runescape.

Or...the excessively powerful weapons could be countered with excessively powerful armor...but thats just stupid :D It'd probably be better to power down the excessive weapons to make 99 HP a reasonable amount of HP. Then again, the majority of Pkers don't lug around Armadyl Godswords...unless there was a significant drop in price during the 6 months I was gone :shock:

Well, it isn't useless, however, I don't generally find a use for it on a daily basis. No skill is "useless" because you end up needing all of them at some point or another for a quest or minigame, etc.

I have always wanted that ever since I first started playing and it would be cool, but I honestly don't care much either way...

As much as some capes are easier to obtain than others, I believe that spending so much time and effort and money makes all of the capes admirable. I don't have any skill capes so I find it an achievement to get that much experience in a skill.

As much as it was fun to chill in worlds 1 and 2 and sell/buy things, I find the GE to be very convienient for me since I generally can't play as much as I would like to and it makes it easy to get the items I need when I need them so I can spend time doing fun things with the items. It does limit your abilities as a merchant, which sucks, but me, never really being one, it really doesn't affect me much.

As much as it would be nice to give the F2P players more magic...it (F2P) is, in my opinion, still viewed as a demo Jagex and will therefore be treated as one. Updates would be cool for F2P, but it isn't going to happen in reality...
