Hi there, my new slayer task is 203 nechryael and I have never fought them before. Axe man Jack's slayer guide said that they are often skipped since melee is very slow against them.

Maybe ranging or maging is an option but I prefer melee.

 

I have a guthan's set, proselyte set, verac's skirt, whip, ss, fury, berserker ring, and usual gear.

 

Also, I probably will use piety, super att, str, def pots and a bunyip.

Bladewing has an awesome guide for them. It is to chin them, and it sometimes even profits. Makes them a fun task and make them mix things up a bit.

Since your ranged level is quite low (no offence), I'd suggest you melee them. Use offensive boosting stats and Verac's armour if using piety. As always, use the best attack/strength potions you have. You can either kill them in the Chaos Tunnels or in the Slayer tower. Usually, it's less crowded in the Chaos tunnels.

Agreed with above, just melee them. They're easy enough, bunyip should keep up with the healing just fine, although you'll probably want to bring an EE in case they get a few too many lucky hits in a row.

I wouldn't skip them, as they can be pretty profitable with a bit of luck. They drop rune boots fairly frequently (I usually get 1-3 per task), which are worth around 180k right now. Also, lots of good seeds, so you may get lucky with some snapdragon (~50k) or torstol (~380k) seeds too :]
