Envy -vs- Forsaken

 

So our Advisor and Head Officer Dreambasher got us a fight against Forsaken. Unfortunately, he was unable to make it, and after being innactive for almost 2 weeks, I had to make some sacrifices so I'd be able to make the war. Knowing Forsaken was one of the hardest clans to fight, I made sure i'd be there to do as much as I could with the rest of the clan that could be there to take a win. We knew it'd be hard, especially with half our ranks not being able to show up and signing up as NO. We prepared for a week and it was a bit worrying to see 30 in teamspeak 10 minutes before the start time. But with some lates making their way up and all, we started off with a solid 40 in teamspeak.

 

After seeing Forsakens opts, we knew we were only going to gain and that this was our fight. The last time we fought Forsaken won with a huge opts difference, and now it was our turn to do the same.

 

The first 5 Minutes as always was an itriguing one. Both clans seemed to fight on par, but as we sent snipers out and our lates joined in the fight, and we gained numbers on teamspeak, we knew this was only heading in one direction, a win for us. As the war went on our main pile only strengthened, and soon enough we were KO'ing anyone we piled, including people sniping us.

 

Unfortunately, 20~ minutes into the fight Forsakens teamspeak got DDOS'd, or apparently all their dutch players only disconnected or something like that. We told them we'd give them a few minutes, but seeing as they had no backup teamspeaks, red x kindly offered impulses. For some reason for them it had some security thing and they couldn't get in, and with 10-15 minutes of standing around which is around a quarter of the cap, our FI leaders decided it was a waste of time and just rushed them. They peaked at about 75-90 or something opts in that time, and I'm pretty sure with us at a 135 opt main pile and only gaining, the fight was headed in one way. When we rushed forsaken after giving them 15 minutes or so which we wouldn't have done if we ddos'd them, nor would we have done if we didn't have no honour (sad you called us NH after all the help I gave you) they called it off.

 

Also, apologies for the rush at the start. As I said we had NO leaders apart from myself there, who never had teamspeak, and lack of officials. Communication was a problem and thats also why you got rushed after we waited 15 minutes.

 

Thanks for the fight anyway, and its pretty sad people have to resort to ddosing other clans out of hatred. I assure you envy had nothing to do with it, as we were comfortable with the outcome and actually wanted a full fight.

Forsaken Ending : Around 45~ opts or so at mossies.. called it off.
