Check and see if its not a particular region such as Middle-East, Medditerrainian, Western or Eastern Europe, U.S., just search in an atlas book, history book (i guess your taking world history...i took it in 9th grade), encylopedia (maybe), check for 1900's maps or atlas on google on some hsitory website, check your local library if all else fails.
