Need Dungeoneering Help

Well, I have never done dungeoneering before. All my exp and lvls have come from tears of guthix and lamps.

 

Can anyone give me some advice and a rundown of what I should do?

You are really low right now. Right now I think you can do up to floor 22. I guess you should rush f1 - f15. That means put it as complexity 1, small, and try not to kill everything. If the next door says "guardian door" thats when you have to kill everything in the room. From f16 - f22, you should do some solo medium floors. When you get to about f25, then you can start teaming with people. In daemonheim, you can "bind" an item to you. This means you can keep the item forever through the dungeons. I recommend you first bind a good spear/2h sword. Then @ lvl 50 dung, you can bind 2 items. Try to bind a platebody or a shadow silk hood (ssh); the latter is preferred.

Get used to clearing floors as fast as you can, never clear dead ends of monsters/kill anything you don't have to (in the case of having a ssh especially). Someone may correct me if I'm wrong but I've understood that its best to not go out of your way to make pots for skill doors you can't do.

 

Also don't stop doing tears. However using peng points/lamps etc is more recommended for use in herblore/prayer as they are expensive to level while dg is free!

Um, pretty sure you should make pots to open doors you can't; bonus rooms not only give you the "bonus room" bonus, but also affect your base exp in the first place. It would depend I guess - maybe if you know the bonus room will be a dead end room, don't do it; but quite often one bonus room will lead the pay or have the key to another one. And honestly, missing all the bonus rooms would probably cut your exp in half.
