Thieving Guide - Vial of Stench

Featured Replies

HI,

I noticed that there was no listing for "Vial of Stench" listed in the Thieving Guide/Thieving Aids. I was looking for information on how to make this potion, and it took a small amount of digging to find it. It would make sense to list it on the main Thieving Skill page, I believe.

Something like:

NAME:

[Vial of Stench (a)]

HOW TO OBTAIN:

Available after completing [buyers and Cellars] - [A Guild of Our Own] miniquest .

Made by combining a [Vial of water], [irit leaf], and [Chopped onion] (made with a [bowl], [Knife], and [Onion]) , then getting

[Chief Thief Robin] in the Thieves' guild to enchant it.

USE:

After the [buyers and Cellars] miniquest, it can will allow players to interact (talk or shop) with NPCs they have just robbed.

Benefits are automatic when the player holds the vial in their inventory.

You may want to update the VoS item page with this info as well, as it explains how to make and use the potion, and explains that the potion can be used for any interaction, not just selling. It would be nice to get the items in [parentheses] hot linked, if any editor is motivated to do so.

I'd also be curious to know if it gives you Herblore EXP for making it.

I'm sure it's not a huge amount, but it may be worthwhile to add it to the Herblore guide as well.

Nope, no herblore experience. That would make too much sense.

But I agree, it's worth mentioning on the Herblore page.
