Avatar URL too long?

Featured Replies

Hi I tried to link the avatar that I use on Twitter to this forum. However the form input can only be a certain length. What can I do instead?

Re-upload the image to photobucket, imageshack, or something like that.

I did that. Do the images on these websites remove themselves after a certain time?

Not usually, no, although it can happen. I've never had a problem with imageshack but I know that Photobucket for instance may remove images if you have too many.

Although it shouldn't happen, as Y_Guy said, I would always recommend that you download a copy of the image to your desktop if it's really important to you. That way you'll never lose it and will always be able to re-upload it if necessary :)

As an example, Imageshack doesn't delete images as long as they are seen at least once a year, or at all if you are registered. You should be fine using a large host.
