On a related note, it's worth it to buy a novite kiteshield in the beginning of the dungeon if you didn't manage to pick up an anti-dragon shield. This lets you use your tank ring through the entire dungeon. If you need to later, you can upgrade your shield to something better. I'm not sure if a surgebox counts as a shield though, if you happen to have that bound. ~It's Super Effective!
