Tank ring

Featured Replies

Quick question : Do you have to be in defensive mode for the tank ring in dungeoneering to work? It doesn't say anything about it so i'm just wondering

No you don't need to be in defensive mode, just wielding a shield.

This.

On a related note, it's worth it to buy a novite kiteshield in the beginning of the dungeon if you didn't manage to pick up an anti-dragon shield. This lets you use your tank ring through the entire dungeon. If you need to later, you can upgrade your shield to something better.

I'm not sure if a surgebox counts as a shield though, if you happen to have that bound.

andrew calcs says surgebox does not count as shield, and he's an exceptional keyer, who used tank ring while keying last i checked.
