Who is Acioyx?

 

I am a senior at my high school, I am 18 years old and I graduate in May. I am somewhat an expert in cat behavior and development and starting to learn about dogs. I plan to go to college or an university for veterinary medicine or business administration after my common studies are completed. I love to play basketball, write, read and hang out and act stupid with my friends. You will see that I am on Runescape quite frequently and I hope you will add me :). I hope to make good friends with you all here at the forum and perhaps meet some of you in game and talk to you. I also would love to find other people to skill with so the skilling seems less trite and more as a fun hobby.

 

 

My Runescape history

 

This is my new account, Acioyx (Subtract a few letters from the first name of acinonyx jubatus which is the scientific name for cheetah and that is how I came up with it.)

 

I started this account February 15, 2011. I grew bored of combat on my old account and had decided to quit for a whole year. So after a lot of thinking, I felt the urge to come back to Runescape and so I made this account. This time I went the skiller route.

 

So far, my stats are average and my total is great for my first two weeks of play. I have been trying to get 50+ in all stats, then 60+ in all stats then eventually a 99 in a skill, which will most likely be mining, fishing, or woodcutting. Long term goals are 1000 total and a rare item.

 

I know level 3's are sometimes highly regarded as "noobs" or labled a useless account, but skilling is fun for me and any support spite of that is very much appreciated. Below are a few pictures, and a few things I have been working on - which will be updated when I have something important to say or to announce. If you want to add me (I am always looking for new friends) my name is acioyx in game.

 

Updates

 

Update - February 28th, 2011) my first 99 will be mining. I actually enjoy mining and got from 43-49 real fast. Of course the skill will get harder, but I had 25m+ fish exp on my last account which shows commitment towards a 99. Mining will be harder, but I want to have a "rare" or somewhat great cape this time, one I can really be proud of. I will update with a signature for mining after it becomes ranked in the next few days.

So I have been thinking about a few things that I want to get your opinions on. I really enjoy being a skiller and have above 800 total in the first two weeks of play, but I do not know if I should become a magic skiller with no hp or remain a level 3 combat skiller.

 

Being a magic skiler would allow me to superheat and get 99 smithing cheaper, and get 99 magic. But I would have combat levels and that might make me look nooby or odd. What do you think?
