So this quest, the thing I hate the most in RS >_>, is acting weird.

 

I have done EVERYTHING as the tip.it guide says in the puzzle. The images also exactly match the ones I have. Then during the final move of the 5th puzzle it says "nothing happened, maybe it needs to be powered first".

And now I am stuck.

 

Please help me so I can get over this [cabbage] some people call a quest.

Message appears in two occasions to my knowledge:

1) You have run out of moves on all counters and thus cannot uses the machine - would be tricky since part 5 is well under 50 moves and if your using tip.it guide you should have infinite by now

2) You have already done puzzle five "lowering the middle" and the middle IS lowered. The message is because you are trying to put the pillar back up without charging it.

 

Since two is most likely look carefully at the central pillar with the red thingies on top. (ignore all but the central pillar) If it is in this position:

 

Puzzle 5 has worked and you obviously reset when you shouldn't and puzzle is jsut stopping u raising it.

I didn't reset it after it dropped. I have done all the puzzles from 1-5. After I tried to start doing six after the small cutscene, it stopped working. Then I reset when I had nothing else in mind and now I can't even do 5 either. Should I immediately just move to #6?

 

 

EDIT: I just ignored the unpowered messages and it worked perfectly and finished the quest wtf...
