Rock Lobs

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Going rock lobs to burst for charms (obviously) and i was wondering should i use full void with deflector and barrows gloves or use full ahrim?

Full void adds 30% accuracy and full ahrim has +66 mage att over void, which is better?

Thanks

Ahrims, you really dont need more then 70+ mage bonus to hit on the lobbs anyway.

Its generally agreed that ahrims is better for bursting because the 30% bonus doesn't apply to all of the lobsters, it applied only to the single lobster you attack, which means over all, you're getting a smaller boost with void than with ahrims. However, a case can also be made for battle robes which when worn with an SoL reduce the rune use by approximately 50%, which is pretty good if you're worried about reducing cost. Either way, don't use mage void. From what I've seen, it's always worse than ahrims.

Void bonus applies to all lobsters, the issue is that its not 30% higher magic damage, it is 30% higher mage accuracy, what is meant by this is magic attack bonus. So its basically not better in any way. However, it can be better if you use it with a deflector and Ahrim's robetop. Because the 30% bonus would apply to the magic attack coming from Ahrim's robetop as well. But i don't have the numbers, you should check that out!

Nevertheless, Battle robes are the best unless you value your time higher than 2m/hr.

My lame drops:
6 Effigys
1 D Med - 1 D Dagger
1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody
